Working with Wine Importers Scotland Limited, we stock over 40 wines to cover most palates and costs. Luckily we have a great supplier and we ALSO can tap into their huge wine list for any special occasions you wish to arrange.
Our own list covers fizz, a short list of champagnes, rosés, crisp whites and mellow smooth reds. Our house wines are a very special deal, starting at only £20 a bottle and they offer a great way to relax after work. Why not ask for some olives or new sharing nachos to match? Our house whites include Pinot Grigio £20, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc both £23 a bottle. Usually spending a just a little more on your wine in a restaurant will get you far more wine quality. For example, our Nero D’Avola Boccantino from the Island of Sicily, Italy. This is an intense ruby red colour with purple hints. Aromas of violet, spices, and red fruit. Full-bodied but smooth with a velvety and spicy finish on the palate. This is amazing value at £25.
Trying our fantastic seafood platters or the seafood ? Rioja Blanco Valdepalacios, from Rioja, Spain. An intense and fruity aroma denotes the youthful exuberance of this white wine. Steal this for £26!
Unbeatable value reds include a Malbec, Cava Negra from the family owned Bodega Barberis in Mendoza, Argentina. This has a rugged style that offers cherry and blackberry flavours backed by subtle tannins. A good balance between fruit and spice. A medium glass is just £6.70 or go the whole bottle for £28.
Our favourite for afternoon drinking is the Côtes du Rhône “Roulepierre” Amadieu from the Rhône area in France. Medium-bodied on the palate, a hint of liquorice enhances the pleasantly satisfying finish from this classic quaffable wine. And at only £35 a bottle, we believe this represents terrific value.
